  1. I guess we know why SE was pushed back now, to get this new dino into the frontier pack. This is a joke. This massive flying base isnt a cosmetic item. You cant call this a cosmetic pack anymore. Guess we shouldn't have expected any less from Shi and snail. Obviously we dont know the specifics of the Oasisaur, but it certainly seems like its going to give people a pretty big advantage on a dry wasteland type of map like SE. That is the exact opposite of what a cosmetic pack is supposed to be. Didnt take Shi long to introduce p2w elements into the "cosmetics" pack to force those who want to remain competitive on a server into buying it. If something like this is in the very first pack, I imagine its only going to get worse down the line.
  2. Its early access because early access is a dev buzz word to throw out in an attempt to quell angry consumers when your game is a buggy unfinished mess that cant make its release date. The Forest 2 is an actual early access game that released in a bare bones state and has had a ton of content added since release. The "Early access" tag for ASA is nothing more than a facade. A game thats actually in "early access" doesnt have a dlc map 2 months later.
  3. No sign of the updated roadmap either. I guess Shi got his money and ran.
  4. I'd be fine with all other changes (still not a fan overall, but I can deal) if they still let you put cryofridges on rafts and quetz bases. For me, thats the straw that broke the camels back.
  5. Its abysmally low. I flew around on my argy all day yesterday and had dinos, rafts, buildings etc popping right in front of my face. Thank god none of the bases or rafts had turrets, because I would have had no chance to react. In a game where you and your tame can get instantly shredded by 20 heavys, render distance has to be a top priority. Not to mention it makes searching for dinos to tame a huge pain because you are basically forced to fly right at ground level to even have them render, which puts you in turret range. I specifically remember improved render distance being a dev talking point leading up to release. Well, where is it? I suppose Shi needed a new mink coat or something, so WC had to make cuts to the render budget.

  8. Really hate that WC disabled cryo fridges on quetz platforms. Such a garbage change. Stop making useless changes to the game that no one asked for.
  9. Agree. I've done the same with paints in the cosmetics tab. Not a fan .

  11. Lol no one's playing 4d chess like this. Cryos were fine the way they were, just make it so you cant throw them out around enemies to solve the pocket giga pvp issue. There done. Issue solved. Shi Hai I'll be waiting for my check in the mail

I was excited with the announcement of being able to freely pick up and move building pieces along with everything attached to said piece, but to my dismay this feature does not seem to have made the cut on official PS5 servers. Like the old game, the standard 10 second pick up allowance is still in play. However, the strange thing is that this feature seems to work perfectly as advertised in singleplayer. What's more, on official, demolishing a foundation thats supporting several other pieces seems to now give you return materials from ALL the pieces, not just the foundation. So there seems to have been some changes made but not all them are fully functional. I am curious as to why and if the devs are even aware of the issue as I'd love to see this godsend of a feature brought to official servers.
